PRP (Platelet-Rich Plasma) hair treatment is a non-surgical procedure used to stimulate hair growth and combat hair loss. It involves drawing a small amount of a patient's blood, processing it in a centrifuge to concentrate the platelets, and then injecting the PRP into the scalp at areas of thinning or hair loss. 

 

This process aims to stimulate hair follicles, encourage new hair growth, and improve hair thickness.

How it works:

1. Blood Draw: A small amount of blood is drawn from the patient, typically from the arm.

2. Centrifuge: The blood is placed in a centrifuge, a machine that spins rapidly to separate the blood components.

3. PRP Extraction: The centrifuge separates the blood into layers, with the platelet-rich plasma (PRP) being extracted.

4. Injection: The PRP is then injected into the scalp, via a microneedling technique, targeting areas where hair is thinning or has been lost.

Polynucleotides
